I have new years resolutions but they are not as radical as the ones i had when i was younger. I cut myself some slack, should i not achieve them. It is not about how many times you fall its about the amount of times you get up again.
One of the resolutions, is to spend more time with the ones i love. Renice always need a lot of input and she is going to High School so i have to make even more of an effort to spend time with her, and share special things with her.
The other side of the double page is " Little Lady " and this will be available as a kit with about 10 other kits i created for January and Feb

I was a bit low on inspiration and tried a scrapbook challenge from Pamela http://pamelasworldofscrap.blogspot.com This is my take on the sketch. I really enjoyed it no thinking just doing.
I love these colours. I did a second page for more photos.
I did this page for Renice as all she wants to do is work on every horse farm in the world. She told me I must keep her passport ready, when she's done with GR 12 she is off to America and Mongolia to see the wild horses. When I explain that I will miss her her reply was that she'll write. Gypsy child, but I do have so much fun with my little Aspie sees the butterflies from the bottom and then arrange them according to species and size.
I really worked my back side off to have all the baskets packed. One sometimes forget how much work goes into these scrap days. Just a few quick pics before I go to bed and jump out to re check the basket and back in bed and out again and re read the instruction and back in bed ........................

All our new product come in this week and it really inspired me to do a new page for Wian's album. We had a burglary a few years back and our video camera was stolen and we only replaced it a few months ago. Over the Easter holidays we took it out and looked at all the old videos, only then did I realized that I am getting old.
I am not so big on the video thing and then got scrapping again. Renice really enjoyed the video I think it re assured her of our love for her and how much everybody welcomed her when she came into the family, it also opened a whole new window of questions which was never asked before.
It is emotionally draining, to have kidz with special needs, and I thank God hourly for my support group.
Wouldn't change them for the world!!!!!!!!!!!

This is the last rays of the year and yet it is not the end. The Christmas shopping is done and the kids went to Nikki Zipp of Paperchain and done the most beautiful inchies I'll take photos tomorrow and do a post.
The kids are getting a tree house for Christmas so Dad has still away to go before Christmas and Wian is not allowed in the tree house until Christmas Eve and that is very hard for a little ADD baby.
We are not going away accept to the tree house and back but I hope the Journey page would inspire all to scrap a travel page.
All the products on these pages are 7Gypsies and a little ribbon goes a long way.

I had Renice at the doctor again and did a bit of Christmas shopping I've gone to all the factory shops to do the shopping for the teenagers that does respect handmade gifts. The Nike shop is great and so is the Meltz shops.
Only problem with these shops they are not very organized, and you have to scratch for everything and if I take Renice with she can't shop there, she repacks the shop for them.
However, they all grow up to become adults and it is these growing years that I enjoy most the little teenager peeping at my daughter over their Coke, and her remarks on trends and fashion.

After a long absence I actually had so much to do with children and all the therapists and time out just to adjust to in my approached to everything I do and how to handle the stresses and late nights without sleep, but we live and we learn and I now take one day at a time and enjoys all that comes with these special children.

I haven't been blogging for a while, but I have been working very, very hard. One of the classes I thought was 5 double pages in a day and I must admit, all the ladies went home with 5 double pages and they loved it.
this was the first page of the 5 and the easier one of the days just to get everybody in the scrapping mode after scones and coffee. The letters were cut and glittered. Tags under 4 of the photos. Sewing and ribbons.
It has been a hard few weeks and I hope everything is back on track now. Lots of new product and lots of new classes and ideas. I am looking forward to my Recipe Book class and the 7Gypsies Photo Carousel I'll have a sneak preview by the end of the week.

This design is for a page I want to make of Renice. She is really becoming a lady.The polka dots make me think of muslin dresses with scalloped neck lines, and even if we do not life in that era anymore the connection will always remain. I have lovely photos of her in an apricot t-shirt. I thought I would give you a head start.
Twice a year I design a school page, as all school photos especially the winter sport photos are taken at school.
This page of Renice is for Club Cre-a-tiv just a little glimpse of what we do at the Club. All packs can be ordered through your local scrapbook store. This one is on the house.
The most important component on this page is my beautiful daughter and the 7 Gypsies School sticker,gaffer tape, 7 Gypsies rub ons, and 97% complete tags. All cardstock is from Core dinations Scarlet and Forest, Maya Road alphabet stamp and Prima paper.
I am very sure that this must be the best booth on CHA. Debbie and Paula designed this beautiful, artful booth at CHA. It is classic, funky and all that Gypsies stand for.
Well done girls you are a hard act to follow.

You thought I fell off the side of the earth, well I did and when I opened my eyes I was in scrapbook heaven. All the new sample of the distributors came this week and we had so many mail and attachments form all the beautiful people that does the designing for the products we carry, it was just great.
Here with the new ranges of Core dinations. Is this stunning or what????
The chocolate box is a new range launched at CHA, chocolate, now really did they have to call it chocolate.

I don't know if it is only my house but weekends are mad. We run for this and run for that and then come Sunday afternoon much to quick for the catch up nap of the weeks late nights.
We were just floating away from the weeks madness when a commotion started and Renice shouting as if the haystack was on fire, which isn't impossible as Wian has made a "contained" fire IN THE HAYSTACK last weekend to make a braai. So this was maybe a contained fire again but no, The dog killed one of my guinea fowl and Renice was killing the dog. My Sunday afternoon nap turned into a funeral and condolences to the Fowl Family.
Therefore the scrapping are taking a bit of a back seat as I am working on the August project 7 Gypsies book called Count. Count your blessing, your lucky stars, count your friends and family the funerals and the weddings the birthdays. In the meantime a page If tomorrow never Comes.

I used Small photos of the family and added them in and on the metal tags.
I thought the big clip was to much, use fridge magnets and add another flower, it doesn't take up so much space.

I received an e-mail from a friend about common sense which I will add to my blog and this inspired the FAT BOOK called Personal Values.
A 7 Gypsies envelope book was used, I used 2 Gypsies rub offs, ribbon 7Gypsies paper and dictionary paper.
I assembled the book and then washed the little book with 7Gypsies color wash Pastel Peach. Every envelope has a tag that has a personal value on.
The best place to find old dictionaries and what not is in the hospice shops you will be amazed what you can find.
I've tried my best to change my style to be more up market and go with the new trends but, low and behold I'm back where I started with all the old ways again. Aged paper and bling what can I say. Page came out not to bad. I loved the Making Memories with such good product how far can you go wrong.
The swirls is 7Gypsies I painted them and glued them added MM shimmer spotlight. Tied them with ribbon ad added Noteworthy flower.
Use the scalloped paper from the first page as a template and cut Jute paper and add the Noteworthy at the back to form a 12" page again. Stamp Fancy Pants stamp with MM strawberry and cream paint and add shimmer directly on the page. Fancy????
